What are the dates for next years event?

The dates for next year’s event will be the 24th and 25th July 2010

What are the admission prices?

Daily ticket prices for the Cumbria Steam Gathering are Adults £10, Senior Citizens £7 and Children are free. There is plenty of free parking and an area reserved for blue badge holders.

These prices are for each day.  There isn't a ticket available for the whole weekend. Discounts are available for coach parties.

Can I bring my dog?

As long as you keep your dog on a lead, he / she is welcome to come to the Cumbria Steam Gathering with you! Please remember this is agricultural land, so please ensure any faeces are collected and deposited of properly.

Can I camp on site?

Unfortunately, we don't have a visitors camp site this year, but there is a list of local caravan parks and camp site on the website.

How can I exhibit at the 2010 event?

In order to reserve space at next years event, you need to fill in either a trader or exhibitor form, which you can download from this website on the trader and exhibitor pages.  There is also a map of the site available.

If you have problems downloading the forms, simply fill in the box below and we will send you the relevant forms you need.

How do I find a lost child?

To help reunite lost toddlers and young children, the Cumbria Steam Society provides free wristbands, at the main pay gate, throughout the event.

Disability Advice

There are wheel chair accessible toilets and a designated free parking area for blue badge holders.

Can I hire a mobility scooter?

Mobility scooters are available to hire from Shopmobility in Kendal.  Please contact Pam Flitcroft on 01539 740933 for advice.
